Black Shirt Brewing is a progressive, artisanal brewery in Denver's RiNo Art District, founded by brothers Chad and Branden Miller along with Chad's wife Carissa. The focus is on hand-crafted, small-batch beer built for character and balance, and the taproom's live music calendar matches that ethos. Outdoor performances run on Friday and Saturday nights from June through September, then move inside for the colder months. Indoor shows are reserved for semi-acoustic solo and duo formats that suit the space. For guests, it is one of the more character-driven RiNo taprooms; for artists, the seasonal split creates two distinct programming windows to work with.
