Campbell Hall (UCSB)

Campbell Hall is UC Santa Barbara's largest auditorium and a main stage for UCSB Arts & Lectures, the campus series that brings touring musicians, dancers, and speakers to the coast. The round building hides a traditional proscenium stage and 860 seats on a single sloped floor, with clear sightlines and natural acoustics that flatter acoustic instruments and voices. Weekdays it hosts lectures, and evenings it becomes a concert hall for acclaimed singer-songwriters, classical soloists, jazz artists, and international ensembles. Audiences come ready to listen, often students alongside longtime Arts & Lectures subscribers. For artists, it is a seated theater experience where every nuance carries to the back row.
