Carr Winery

Carr Winery pours inside a World War II era Quonset hut that was hauled to Santa Barbara's east side decades ago. The arched metal ceiling covers stacked barrels, booths, and a bar built from barrel tops, giving the room the cool, echoey feel of a wine cave in the middle of town. Out front, a patio with fire pits, umbrellas, and string lights hosts free live music most weeks, typically a Wednesday evening set and a Friday night session. Expect solo acts and duos playing folk, blues, soul classics, and classic rock, with Argentine empanadas from next door delivered to your table. Every show is 21 and over, and the space holds about 200 people.
