Figueroa Mountain Brewery

Figueroa Mountain Brewing's Funk Zone taproom was the neighborhood's first brewery, bringing a slice of Santa Ynez Valley ranch country to the beach end of town. Raw wood, concrete floors, filament bulbs, and horseshoe accents give it a rustic warmth, while a long bar and a sunny patio handle the crowds. Pizza comes from the shop next door, and dogs and families are welcome. Live music runs several nights a week, usually local singer-songwriters and small bands playing to locals and visitors fresh off the beach. It is a casual, social room where the music keeps the afternoon moving. Acts with a broad repertoire and an easy stage presence do well here.
