Garden Amp

Garden Amp is Orange County's only independent outdoor amphitheater, a genuinely exceptional all-ages venue on Main Street in Garden Grove that operates as a 530-seat open-air room with a standing-room-only pit in front of the stage, plus two smaller indoor spaces: the Tree House at 200 capacity and the Locker Room at 100. Set alongside Village Green Park, the venue was acquired by the LFA Group in 2017 and has been presenting concerts since 2019 under a decade-long agreement with the city, earning a reputation as one of the most comfortable and well-run small amphitheaters in Southern California. The programming is broad and eclectic, spanning punk, hip-hop, metal, reggae, classic rock, folk, country, and tribute acts with consistent quality at each end of the spectrum. Recent bookings have included GZA of Wu-Tang Clan, members of The Go-Go's, Metallica tribute Damage Inc., reggae acts, and a range of touring bands that makes Garden Amp a reliable destination for music fans throughout Orange County and the greater LA area. Shows are typically on weekends, all-ages, general admission, and ticketed through TicketWeb, with the box office opening an hour before doors on show nights. There is ample free parking on surrounding streets. The outdoor setting is one of Garden Amp's greatest assets: the stage is permanent, the sightlines are clear from all 530 seats, and the park location gives the venue a looseness and energy that indoor rooms cannot replicate. Drinks and a limited food menu (sliders and fries) are available inside. No outside food or drink is allowed.
