Kimpton Canary Hotel

The Kimpton Canary is a boutique hotel a block off State Street, pairing Spanish Colonial bones with bright coastal decor. Its standout feature is the rooftop pool deck, which offers sweeping views of the mountains and the ocean. The rooftop hosts seasonal events such as sunset tastings with acoustic musicians, Fiesta parties with DJs, and morning coffee sessions set to curated beats, while Finch & Fork serves California cuisine downstairs. The crowd is hotel guests mixed with locals out for a special evening. Gigs here are event-driven and polished, and the view is part of the show. DJs and acoustic artists who bring refinement and flexibility fit best.
