Maverick Saloon

The Maverick Saloon is the last of the old taverns that once lined Sagunto Street in the tiny town of Santa Ynez, and it still carries the spirit of a true Western honky-tonk. Dollar bills paper the ceiling, a long bar runs the length of the saloon, and the historic barn out back holds a proper dance floor and stage with a full lighting and sound rig. Weekends are the main event, when country bands take the stage and line dancers fill the floor. Karaoke and open mic nights keep things lively during the week. The crowd is valley ranchers, winery workers, and weekend visitors who came to two-step. Bands should come loud, danceable, and ready for requests.
