Moe's Alley

Moe's Alley has been the soul of Santa Cruz's live music scene since 1991, a 21+ club on Commercial Way that has hosted blues, reggae, salsa, soul, funk, rock, hip-hop, world music, and everything in between for more than three decades. The room is intimate enough to feel personal but large enough to hold a real crowd, with an open dance floor inside and a muraled outdoor patio called The Yard that comes alive on warm nights with an Agave taqueria stand and outdoor speakers. The booking is handled by Ineffable Music Group, which means the calendar runs deep with quality acts from across the country and the world alongside a strong roster of Bay Area originals. Past performers include The Slackers, Acid King, Mariachi El Bronx, SambaDa, Parker Millsap, and Mykal Rose. The sound system is excellent, the sightlines are strong, and the crowd on any given night is there because they actually love music. It is consistently one of the best places to see a live show anywhere on the Central Coast.
