Pali Wine Co. pours from a wine garden in the Funk Zone, a couple of blocks from both the beach and State Street. The Lompoc-based winery is known for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Sta. Rita Hills, along with Rhone and Bordeaux varieties and a few natural wines. The garden is relaxed and dog-friendly, with outdoor tables, light snacks, and room for roughly 80 guests between the patio and the small indoor space. Live music happens on select days, usually a single performer or duo setting a mellow tone for tasting flights and long conversations. It suits acoustic artists who enjoy a sunny, low-key afternoon crowd.
