Platte River Bar & Grill

The Platte has been serving the Denver area for over twenty years, a 21-plus riverside bar and grill on South Santa Fe Drive in Littleton that has long been a favorite refueling stop for bikers and cyclists. The generous outdoor seating (heated inside seating handles the winter months) makes it a natural sunny-afternoon spot, and the food-and-drinks side keeps the space busy year-round. Live music lands on Friday and Saturday nights along with Saturday and Sunday afternoons, May through September, favoring blues, rock, jazz, pop, rockabilly, and zydeco. Those under 21 can be inside when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The 50-person capacity keeps the shows social and close, and the crowd is a mix of regulars, riders, and passersby drawn in by the patio.
