Pueblo Chile & Frijoles Festival

The Chile and Frijole Festival was created to promote Pueblo's rich agriculture and encourage the community and region to buy local, fresh products at farm stands and specialty shops throughout the year. The all-ages event features live entertainment, street vendors, cooking competitions, and (unsurprisingly) chilies in every form imaginable, held downtown along Union Avenue in mid to late September. The festival draws Pueblo residents alongside visitors from across the state and around the country. For guests, it is one of the essential southern-Colorado autumn gatherings; for artists, the festival books more than 50 acts across four outdoor stages during the three-day celebration.
