Sherbino Theater

The Sherbino Theater is owned and operated by the Ridgway Chautauqua Society, a nonprofit that keeps this 120-capacity all-ages downtown Ridgway venue programmed year-round with a diverse slate of lectures, poetry, film, theater, children's theater, art classes, comedy, and both seated and dance-hall style music events. Most theater shows land Thursday through Saturday nights, though exceptions can be made for acts with proven draw. The Sherbino also runs The Courtyard at 610, its intimate outdoor sister venue that hosts programming generally Tuesday through Saturday from May through September. For guests, the theater is one of the anchor cultural stops in the San Juans; for artists, a Sherbino booking carries the weight of a serious community-arts institution.
