The Ale House

The Ale House on North 12th Street in Grand Junction is Breckenridge Brewery's original Ale House location, and it has grown into one of the go-to spots on Colorado's Western Slope for a full meal and outdoor drinks. The room can handle a party, but the massive patio is really the star, especially May through September when live music takes over the outdoor space on Wednesday and Saturday nights. The programming ranges across acoustic, bluegrass, blues, jazz, and reggae, generally in solo, duo, and trio formats, with full bands appearing more sporadically. It is a 21-plus space, though guests under 21 can be inside until 10 pm. For artists, the patio slot draws a well-fed, unhurried crowd already primed for a set.
