The Avalon Theatre
Grand Junction, CO, 81501
Multi-Genre
976
Capacity

The Avalon Theatre was built for the residents of Grand Junction by local publishing giant Walter Walker in 1923, and it remains one of Western Colorado's largest performing arts halls. The 976-capacity all-ages venue on Main Street can host shows any night of the week that another event is not already scheduled. Its historical weight combined with its scale make the room a genuine destination for touring bills willing to route through the Western Slope. For guests, it is one of the essential large-format cultural stops in Grand Junction; for artists, playing a room with more than a century of history is a real credential.
