The Morrison Inn

The Morrison Inn opened in 1979 serving 25 meals on its first day and now pours 15,000 gallons of its famous margaritas and serves 50,000 pounds of complimentary chips and salsa every year. The 100-capacity all-ages restaurant hosts live music outside seven nights a week from May through September, with two acts on Saturdays and Sundays during that stretch. Programming scales back to sporadic Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from October through April when shows move indoors. For guests, it is one of the essential Morrison stops (especially during a Red Rocks day) for a full-service dinner-and-music evening; for artists, the summer's density of slots creates a genuine working seasonal rotation.
