The Observatory & Constellation Room

The Observatory is Orange County's premier live music complex, a 972-capacity main hall and 250-capacity Constellation Room housed together at 3503 South Harbor Boulevard in Santa Ana, presenting more than 700 shows per year across all genres and serving as the region's most important stop on the national touring circuit. The main room is a multi-tiered hall with five levels and a balcony that provides excellent sightlines from every vantage point, with a massive stage, auditorium seating options, and a VIP lounge. The Constellation Room next door is an intimate, cozy club with an exceptional sound system where up-and-coming artists play the kind of close, personal shows that become the stories fans tell for years. Opened in 2011 on the site of the old Santa Ana Galaxy Theater, the Observatory quickly grew from a local venue into a regional institution, eventually expanding to San Diego as well. Both rooms are operated by Live Nation and book across every genre: indie, rock, punk, metal, hip-hop, electronic, Latin, R&B, and everything in between. The Constellation Room in particular has built a strong reputation as the place to catch tomorrow's stars before they outgrow it.
