The Whiskey Rose

The Whiskey Rose brings the Grizzly Rose brand and its live-music model to Colorado Springs, a 700-capacity 21-plus country and western room on North Academy Boulevard. Live music runs Thursday through Sunday nights, with Sundays open to all ages and headliner shows (typically one or two a month) generally set as 18-plus. The scale supports full-band country programming with the kind of dance-floor energy the Grizzly Rose established up in Denver, and the room's size makes it a real destination stop in The Springs. For artists, it is one of the larger dedicated country rooms in southern Colorado; for guests, it is a legitimate honky-tonk night out.
