Tommyknocker Tavern

The Tommyknocker Tavern was established in 1999 by a group of locals in the historic mining town of Creede, and the room still carries that community-built feel. The 50-person 21-plus tavern books solo acts on Wednesday nights and full bands on Fridays and Saturdays during the summer months. The programming spans alternative, bluegrass, blues, country, folk, independent, jam band, and rock, so any given weekend can look quite different from the last. For guests, it is one of the essential stops in Creede for drinks and live music; for artists, the historic mining-town atmosphere and locals-first crowd make it a memorable summer-season slot.
