Topa Topa Brewing Co.

Topa Topa Brewing's Funk Zone taproom shares a big, airy hangar with Fox Wine Co. near the beach end of Santa Barbara Street. The Ventura-born brewery pours its hop-forward beers in an open room that flows onto a patio where local musicians play regularly, with food from the neighboring kitchen and a calendar that also includes trivia and comedy. The crowd is a mix of locals, surfers, and visitors, and the vibe is relaxed and social. Shows range from free afternoon sets to occasional ticketed evenings. It suits singer-songwriters, acoustic duos, and small bands who can build a crowd over a sunny afternoon.
