Ute Theater

The Ute Theater is an event center on East 4th Street in Rifle, owned and operated by the City of Rifle. After an extensive renovation, the Ute reopened in May 2014 with restored art deco features, an expanded stage, removable seating for over 300, and modern audiovisual capabilities. The 320-capacity all-ages venue can host events any night of the week, with age requirements that shift by event. Programming spans concerts, performances, films, community celebrations, and private events. For guests in western Colorado, it is one of the more architecturally interesting places to catch a show; for artists, the city-owned venue supports both promoted and rental-based programming.
